Ether studies. This series takes a deeper dive into the moments of stillness in nature, abstractly exploring the energetic layers that lie within the atmospheres. The process I use remains the same: a layering technique, mixed media elements (gold leaf, texture paste, pencil, oil pastel, acrylic), using water and its naturally flowing shape to create dimension throughout each piece. Each piece can be viewed horizontally or vertically (the viewer's choice).
