Abstract Painting for a friend

Today I started working on a commission piece for a friend that is in need of decorating a large blank wall in her dining room. She sent me swatches of neutral colors she had throughout her house, so I used the palette as inspiration for an abstract triptych painting. Each piece is 16x40 and I am using acrylic paint. This is where I am at with day 1 of painting. It will be interesting to see where it goes and how long I decide to work on it. Happy to be painting again!

I have now worked on this piece two more short times and I think it's ready to send off to its new home! Here's a sneak peak...
