Liquid Art

So, I've recently became interested in this new (well, new to me) form of acrylic painting using various mediums mixed with acrylic paint to create a marble-like, almost stellar composition. Unfortunately select artists that have become successful using this medium aren't jumping at the bit to release their secret formula for creating the perfect mix of liquid to acrylic to medium. This realization has led me on a quest for fun on Saturdays and/or Sundays -- dedicating at least a couple hours to experimenting with these various mediums in hopes to recreate (not copy!) this style, but also placing a twist using my own creative instincts.
